We now are fitting the rectangle battery pack with a Smart BMS and power switch. The Smart BMS allows the cell group voltage, temperature, and battery capacity percentage to be monitored via an Android/Apple app through a Bluetooth connection. The Smart BMS will balance the cells even at a 90% charge.Our rectangular battery packs are housed in a steel/aluminum case. This not only provides serious mechanical protection but is also water-resistant. We build battery packs (and design/manufacture most of the key component parts on our own high-tech machines). No maintenance. That means no watering, no acid, and no corrosion. Also, there is no need for rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling our batteries.
Tested and Safe.
Impress Lithium-ion Batteries has over 12 years of experience in safety. The Lithium chemistry used in our batteries is much safer than lead-acid which produces harmful by-products (lead and acid) that are hazardous materials.
Our BMS (battery management system) will detect any problems with the performance of the battery and shut down any cells not functioning properly. The BMS will also protect the batteries from any over-charging or undercharging of the batteries.

Charging: A full 48V Lithium-ion e-bike Battery setup will charge in 2-3 hours versus normal lithium batteries that require 4-6 hours.
Opportunity Charging: This means you can top off your Lithium Batteries any time you want without harming the batteries (just like your cell phone). You cant do this with Lead Acid without damaging and reducing the life of the batteries.
Q. What is the reason why the range of electric tricycles decreases more?
A: The electric tricycle relies on the battery energy storage drive motor to drive the wheel forward and reverse to realize forward and backward, and the storage capacity of the battery directly affects the driving mileage of the car. During the use of an e-tricycle, the energy storage capacity of the battery will gradually decrease, and the battery in normal use can be charged and discharged about 200 times. The charging incomplete or over-discharge in the process of use will affect the life of the battery, and the ambient temperature also has a great influence on the battery's energy storage capacity, the northern winter low temperature will be more obvious. Whereas our lithium-ion batteries 3,000+ cycles (about 5 years of daily use) have an optimal performance down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors), at half the weight plus twice the power of a lead-acid battery.
Q. Does having one set of batteries on an electric car with low voltage affect the other three sets of batteries?
A: Having a group of batteries on an electric car with low voltage will affect its group of batteries. The electric car uses 5 batteries in a series connection, one of them has low output voltage, which will cause the total voltage of the whole battery group to decrease, and the output power will be reduced, resulting in the lack of power of the electric car. If this battery group is charged, the other 4 batteries are fully charged, but the battery with low output voltage is not properly charged, which will cause the good battery to be overcharged, while the low voltage battery is not fully charged. If a battery output voltage is low, you should promptly replace the only problematic battery, so as not to cause the other four batteries have been damaged.However, all of our IPS lithium batteries are equipped with intelligent BMS to avoid this problem effectively!
